Dark Coast Press

Seattle’s Dark Coast Press hosted an amazing event last night to celebrate their latest two releases of dark, cynical and funny prose: Thirteen Fugues by Jennifer Natalya Fink and Elynia by David Michael Belczyk and featuring Larry and His Flask (see flyer above). It was a completely new, exciting kind of book release from others I have attended: lively, friendly, and full of un-polite whiskey drinking. The Stranger wrote about the independent publishing company three days ago in From East Coast to Dark Coast. These are a group of incredible people doing an amazing job at keeping book publishing alive and filled with passion. I encourage everyone to support their efforts whether by attending their events or purchasing their works. I’m personally looking forward to what comes next from the publishers.
